...time is so precious..
...it waits for no man...

Time is at once the most valuable and the most perishable of all our possessions.

...the image of the flower was taken from a plant i used to have...
...it blooms beautifully...
but only for a few days...
...and now its beauty is gone forever...
...only this image remains...

Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised.

Ten years have gone by since we crossed path,
through tolls and trials, we grew in strength;
from colleagues to neighbours, our friendship bonded,
that though apart, our spirits were undivided;

Our passion for art has kept us tall,
that at every opportunity, we hope to share with all;
as iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another,
this occasion would be yet another milestone together,
in celebration of our friendship.

Beautiful Reminiscence

Ordinary objects
Ordinary existence
Extra-ordinary valuables

Beyond the appearance of these ordinary objects, lay the marks of people & events that came into my path as I travel along this journey of life.

Constellations of Hopes & Dreams

On any night, when you look up in the sky, what do you see?  Do you always see stars in the sky?  Do you always stare into a cloudy sky?  The dark night possess a  mysterious beauty.  Many times when you look up in the sky, you do not necessarily see all of night’s gift but that does not mean it is not there.  Deep down in the root of our soul, we know that there are millions of living stars beyond this we call the ‘sky’.  Just like life itself, no matter how ordinary our lives are, there are always hopes and dreams that are waiting to be revealed.  This is the driving force for our existence.  Life without hopes and dreams to me is no life at all.  Just remember, the ‘sky’ is the limit.

Through the Window

There are voices which we hear in solitude, but they grow faint and inaudible as we enter into the world.

Ralph Waldo Emerson

Voices, everyday we hear voices.  No matter how ordinary one’s life is, we hear voices everyday.  We hear different sets of voices when we are in solitude.  We hear other different sets of voices when we are in the world of reality.

Solitude cracks open the door that separates our two worlds; the life we lead today and the life we yearn for so deeply.  Many a time, we find ourselves moving to the rhythm of others more than we would like, and that only in moments of solitude we are able to move towards our own rhythm.

Through the Window series express voices of my own rhythm when in solitude.
