...having a break...

...i made this mixed media assemblage in 2008,
i was dreaming of ridding on a bicycle through a vast country side,
enjoying the nature & having a great relaxing time...

...today is my second day of having a break from work...
...didn't go anywhere...
just spend the whole day at home
doing something i enjoy...
...making journal books...

...but, is nice to think of the past short break that i had earlier this year..

...enjoyed a cafe latte at SIXTY TWO TeaStory...
...a lovely coffee house somewhere in the city of Seoul..

I got these lovely fabric from Ikea.

...having fun making buttons...

These are the button making accessories i bought from Daiso.
They come in different sizes.

These are my own printed design on fabric.

These printed designs are pen drawings from my sketchbook.
I reproduced them using silk screen printing technique onto cotton fabric.

These lovely prints are from Japanese cotton fabric.

These are also from Japanese cotton fabric.

One of my good friend bought a piece of fabric for me from Taiwan.
I cut out some of the print designs & made them into these lovely buttons.

These are from Japanese cotton fabric as well.

I had so much fun making these buttons.
I made them into brooches by attaching a pin behind.
I get to wear them whenever i feel like it.
